This award-winning film features the artwork and stories of refugee and asylum-seeker girls and women from all over the world, together with international artist and human rights activist, Salma Zulfiqar (www.salmazulfiqar.com).

 

The artwork was created during ARTconnects workshops held during lockdown in 2020. Representing voices from over 20 nations and four continents, the film constitutes a creative expression of their lives during COVID-19. The Migration Blanket is a call for solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers globally and for the protection of women on the move.
